Well...I am no longer a public school teacher! I AM a PHOTOGRAPHER! I am SO excited!!! I spent most of the day uploading photos to the photo lab. The Lord is opening doors for me. Sometimes it seems to be going so slow but then several things hit me at once. That's no different than what I'm already used to, so I can handle it.

Next week I should have more time. Maybe I can upload a few pics to my blog! See you then.

More time for Photography!

Wow! It's hard to believe I only have one more week of school left! I have begun packing up my things at school, putting it all into boxes, knowing that this chapter of my life has passed and a new chapter is beginning.

I am VERY MUCH looking forward to working from home, doing more photography! The Lord is already opening doors for me and I am so excited to see what is ahead!

Do you have a family reunion this summer or fall? Perhaps it would be good to have a photographer to take photos! (hint, hint)

Photo gear...organized?

Well, up until now, I've had some of the photo gear in the living room, some in the extra room way at the back of the house and my "office" in the spare bedroom. Now we have company coming and it all has to be moved and organized! If it's not organized I'll never be able to find what I need. I never realized how much space I would need for my photography business!
This past week I've talked to several people who have said they need to have a new family photo made. One even said she only has ONE photo of her family! I am available to do your photos wherever you would like to have them made. Just CALL me and we'll make arrangements!
****When was the last time you had a family photo made?.....Well that's too long!

Mother-Daughter Banquet and Photo Shoot

Last night we had our Mother-Daughter Banquet at Second Baptist Church of Monticello. It was wonderful! The food was great, the speaker was interesting, the music was good and the decorations were lovely! I truly enjoyed
taking family portraits for many of the ladies and their families! I think the park-like setting turned out very nicely and the pictures look great!

If any other groups would like to have a photographer available for a similar event, I would love to do your photos!
